"That which is like unto itself is drawn."
This is one of the three major Universal Laws. (The other two are: "The Science of Deliberate Creation" and "Art of Allowing".)
Both of these will be discussed in other posts. For right now lets talk about the Law of Attraction.
Simply put whatever you put your attention on you attract to you. Meaning that whatever you think and feel you attract.
This Law is basically a loving Law. It wants you to be happy. Which means that you create what you want and don't want to you. For example if you constantly say to yourself "I have no money. I struggle with my bills." Plus you feel your struggle as painful and always broke, then that is what you will experience.
The Law sees what you have said and figures this is what you want because this is what you keep talking about. Remember, it wants you to be happy.
It is better to say "I always have money. I pay my bills on time. I feel great." If you say this and you mean it (you feel it, you know it to be true) then that is what you will receive.
You must be mindful of the words that you say. It is especially true when you catch yourself feeling those words that you are saying.
I have found many times when I have put my attention on something that I don't want, only to receive it. For example, the problem with paying bills and always struggling with them.
This is a challenging one because it is so difficult to think and feel any other way when you are broke.
In the past I have not been able to break out of this cycle without the aid of the Universe.
I have to say that as I write this my quote that I wrote above ("I always have money. I pay my bills on time. I feel great.") is something that I will say (with conviction) from now on.
When I used to give the example of struggling with money I never could figure out what to say that could fix the problem.
However, as I write in this posting (to you) it finally came to me. The Universe helped me find the words that I needed to say.
It is not to say that I think I will win the lottery but I now know that I will always be able to pay my bills and I will always have money. I now know this to be true.
Because I have witnessed the Law of Attraction and understand that we all are co-creators in our own lives.
